ONE.

This is what 1 looks like....

My little Mason boy turned 1 on November 24th. To sooth my sorrow, I took up crafting for his birthday party....

His birthday theme was from the book The Very Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carl.

Homemade Caterpillar Banner
Balloon Centerpieces with crayon holders and coloring sheet placemats.

Caterpillar food.

Homemade cupcake caterpillar... mmmm!

His cupcake was thoroughly enjoyed! He ate the whole thing!
I love my oh-so-grown-up boy. Happy Birthday Mason!

Now that Mason is crawling and getting into lots of trouble.... we had a need for some safety gates.

My dad, being the master carpenter that he is began brainstorming and spending extra time in his workshop (the garage).

He created this masterpiece.

This custom piece can be hooked upright and opened while not in use. It is hands free and can be opened with your foot.
More photos to come.

He's the coolest.

one fall day

We discovered a fall favorite...

leaf piles!

Aunt Kimi even took a break from homework to join the fun.
He found his new favorite toy...Yes, I let my child chew on sticks. Friendly bacteria, right?

First Birthday Blues

Mason is turning 1!

I cannot believe our little guy is turning 1. It will be a sad day indeed. The day he becomes more of a tot than a baby. To ease my sadness, I am planning his party. It will be a "Very Hungry Caterpillar" party.
